Course Overview
The Legacy of Surah Al-Baqarah – Reflection, Seerah & Life Lessons
This course offers a unique and engaging study of Surah Al-Baqarah, combining it with the historical context of the Seerah of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Students will explore and reflect on the verses through lessons drawn from Tafseer Ibn Katheer, while understanding the context through the life events of the Prophet (pbuh) and his noble companions, by drawing insights from the book Ar-Raheeq Al-Makhtum (The Sealed Nectar).

- Daily Life lessons
The goal is not just to learn, but to reflect and apply these lessons in real life.
Students will also be encouraged to memorise the translation of the Surah.
Course Schedule

- Class Type: Live (Bilingual) - Notes are provided in both English and Urdu languages
- Day: Every Thursday

- Makkah: 10:00 am
- UAE: 11:00 am
- Pakistan: 12:00 pm
- India: 12:30 pm
Note: Recordings are available for working women.
Certification
To receive a certificate, students must:
- Have 80% attendance of live classes
- Pass all assessments
- MCQ quizzes (every 2 weeks)
- Midterm and Final assessments
Students who also memorise the translation will receive a certificate of excellence.
If you do not want a certificate, you are still welcome to join and benefit as a listener.
Course Instructor:
Sadaf Ather is a visionary educator, mentor, and educational leadership coach with over 15 years of onsite and online teaching experience across the UK, USA, Middle East, and South Asian countries. Her expertise spans Qur’anic Tafseer, Qur’anic Arabic, Hadith, and Fiqh, on the manhaj of Ahl us-Sunnah wa al-Jama‘ah under respected shuyookh from the UAE (Dar Al Ber), Saudi Arabia, the UK, and the International Open University (Qatar). Besides teaching Sharia sciences, she conducts workshops on Holistic personal development, Parenting, and Leadership. With dual Master’s degrees in Educational Leadership (UK) and Information Technology, she skillfully integrates digital innovation into Islamic education. Beyond classroom teaching, she has been actively engaged as a director in community development and women's empowerment in leading organisations.
